Testimonials

My wife Jan and I have lived here since July 2003. We were the 15th and 16th residents. We tell ourselves every day how blessed we are to live in Harmony. This is the best community in Florida, perhaps the nation to live. The benefits are too numerous to list.  Robert Byars, Feb 2012

Buck Lake is a gem for kayaking, sailing, canoeing, boating and fishing. I so enjoy the many festivals and events put on by the activities coordinator. Our Enrichment Center offers many activities for all ages. Marylin Ash-Mower, Jan 2012

Harmony is a happy positive place. I love having all ages in our community as the children keep me young. I am an “adopted Grandma” to two boys and I volunteer at the elementary school. It is heartwarming to see the little ones blossom with a little extra help. Marylin Ash-Mower Jan 2012

I have moved over 22 times and this is by far the best community I have ever lived in. Everyone I have met has been warm, kind and friendly and I have made great friends in a very short period of time.

The golf course is one of the best I have ever played on and there are always plenty of neighbors that will play with me to help me improve my game.  Dick M. Jan-2012

Gardening has been one of my favorite activities since I was 11 years old and Harmony has given me the chance to continue working the soil to grow my favorite vegetables.  The proximity to the Spirit Farm has given me an opportunity to learn how to deal with some of Florida’s gardening challenges.  Dick Mower Jan. 2012

Just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that our choice to choose Harmony to retire was one of the best decisions we ever made. There are so many activities in here for all ages. We enjoy walking all the trails Harmony has to offer, and especially enjoy the wildlife on our walks. Harmony is great for the growing family as there are schools right on Harmony property. We had looked at many other communities, but this had more to offer than all the others.

We love the open spaces, the interaction with the animals, the climate, of course, and the close proximity to the Theme Parks.
There is so much to offer in Central Florida. And we believe our investment will grow in value as the Town of Harmony grows.
There are plans in 2012 for retail stores in the square. We are always “selling” Harmony as a retirement and relocation place to purchase.

Harmony has exceeded all my expectations.  It is delightful to walk around our neighborhood and talk with all our friendly neighbors and share my tools, ladders and lawnmower.

My husband and I moved to Harmony a year ago from New Hampshire. My daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter moved here 4 years ago. Their excitement about the community enticed us to take a look. Needless to say, they were right and we fell in love with all the amenities Harmony has to offer and the rural setting with close proximity to shopping. Marylin Ash-Mower Jan 2012

We had dinner at Graze last night and loved it!!!!! Everything we ordered was delicious and came to our table in a timely fashion. We had our cousins from NY with us and they were very pleased as well! Great job guys! Joseph S. Nov 2011

The food was true gourmet, unbelievably good. I hope that people get over the fact that their menu is a bit pricey and realize that at Graze, you get what you pay for!
The chefs, John and Kim are not cooks, they are artists!
Go and graze at Graze, you’ll be glad you did.

You never want to leave… I just moved in about 7 months ago and there is sooooo much to do here and the best is that you are at peace and you look forward to coming home. Very friendly enviroment and residents…. fishing docks, trails to walk or bike and lots of festivals throughout the year… You would really love it here.

Your lifestyle team did a fantastic job tonight with the haunted house! I couldn’t believe how REAL your props were. It wasn’t super scary, but scary enough that the kids had a great time. Even my 2 year old loved it. Now my 4 year old…that was a different story. I hope your boss can see this post, because you deserve recognition tonight, as with many of the events that you have put together. Again, great work!

Going for a morning or evening walk and seeing sandhill cranes, wood storks, white ibis, hawks, horses, gators, deer, Osceola turkeys, and the occasional turtle or even bald eagle. We step out of our house and into a nature preserve!

First thing in the morning or late evening fishing Buck lake… The twitch of the rod tip, the splash of the Bass rising on the line…. An osprey or eagle fishing alongside me…. Can’t be beat……
-Jim,  April 2011

The bass fishing on Buck Lake can’t be beat.

It’s all the wonderful people that live there that makes it so special, throw the fantastic nature in as well, and guess what you have? “Heaven”
