A vital aspect of the Harmony community philosophy is that education happens best close to home.

 

Serving the educational needs of Harmony's primary school children is a Community School - an elementary school (K-8) designed within close proximity to Harmony homes. In addition, final construction and opening of a brand new community elementary school is scheduled for August 2008. Centrally located, the school will be within walking distance of your home.

 

For older students, Harmony High School sits just south across Highway 192 from Harmony, easily accessible by foot via an underpass walkway.

 

Throughout the school year, both schools coordinate with the local community to provide joint cultural and educational opportunities for the children of Harmony.

 

Nearby parks and nature preserve areas offer students ample opportunities to learn about the natural world around them.
