Outdoor Living

At Harmony, there’s room to roam, places to play and people to play with. Take to the Central Florida trails with friends, go fishing with family or enjoy “me time” in nature. Cool off in our pools or heat things up at a chili cook off. Get your game on, indoors or out. However you define downtime, no other neighborhood plays as well as Harmony.

  • Our community prides itself on its parks and outdoor play areas—from intimate neighborhood pocket parks and dog-friendly parks to fully equipped playgrounds and relaxing green space destinations.
  • Hikers, joggers, cyclists and equestrian riders enjoy more than 12.5 miles of Central Florida trails in Harmony. Our trail system is so extensive, we created a map! Click here to view our Central Florida trail map.
  • Water recreation at Harmony takes several forms, including a splash-pad at Lakeshore Park, Ashley Park Swim Center and the Harmony Swim Center – a full-service facility featuring a large swimming pool, wading pool, sun deck, changing area and the Harmony Swim Club.
  • Those who enjoy fishing and quiet boating will appreciate Buck Lake. Cat Lake and the Cat Lake Campground are a serene setting for overnight nature retreats or afternoon picnics. Together, the two natural lakes represent nearly 1,000 acres of local water recreation.
  • From star gazing to seasonal festivals, something’s always happening at Harmony. For more details about our festivals and community events, please see the Events page.
  • Our traditional small-town gathering place, the Town Square is the scene of lively community get-togethers, from Easter egg hunts to Flag Day festivities and casual gatherings. When completed, this walkable commercial district will feature a variety of retail stores.
  • Harmony’s Graze Restaurant is the heart of our community – the place where families, friends and even canine family members gather for food and fellowship. Graze also hosts special events, including receptions and private parties in the Tack Room.
  • Based in Harmony, Najorka Performance Horses offers riding instruction and barn tours to all ages and skill levels. The NPH herd can often be seen grazing in the pastures around Harmony Square or trotting around the training ring.
