Harmony Golf Preserve Turf Care Facility

HARMONY, FL –August 28, 2007 – In the coming weeks Harmony's Golf Course Maintenance Department will be moving into their new state of the art Turf Care Facility. The new compound has been custom designed to improve the efficiency of agronomic operations which will in return, improve the conditions of the Golf Preserve.
Included with the construction of the Turf Care Facility are two comfort stations located on the golf course (front 9 and back 9) to replace the need for temporary port-o-lets currently in use.

Highlights of the new Turf Care Facility include:

• 8,800 square foot building, large enough to house total equipment fleet.
• Spacious, air-conditioned break room for the staff to conduct meetings and enjoy break time away from the hot sun and other elements.
• Designated, safe and self-contained work zone for Equipment Technicians to perform grinding and maintenance on machinery.
• Self contained Waste-2-Water Environmental Center for fueling, washing, mixing and safe storage of herbicides and pesticides. The Environmental Center is a fully contained area designed to minimize environmental impact associated with agronomic operations.

The Golf Course Maintenance Department is very excited about the new Turf Care Facility and can't wait to move in.
